Email templates

Form Plume's notification emails work out of the box, and you can customize the message text they include. Right now text is the only editable part of the template.

What you can change

You can update the message sent in the email. Open your form settings, find the message field, and enter the text you want. If you leave it blank, Form Plume falls back to its default message so recipients always get something readable. Keep it short, clear, and focused on what the recipient should do next.

The same message field applies whether the email goes to your team or back to the person who submitted the form. For an internal notification that lands in your inbox, you might use:

New submission received. Check the dashboard for the full details.

For an autoresponder confirmation sent to the submitter, a friendlier note fits better:

Thanks, we received your message. Someone from our team will reply within one business day.

Who receives each email is set separately under Email notifications, and the reply sent back to the submitter is configured in Autoresponders. Send yourself a test after every meaningful change.

What is not supported yet

You cannot currently add:

  • A logo or custom branding
  • Submitted values
  • Custom HTML or layouts
  • Different visual themes

Richer email templates are planned. Until then, Form Plume uses its standard layout around the text you provide.
